ABOUT ME

Daniel is an award-winning writer, director, and producer living in Charlotte, NC.

Daniel started by studying film at Carson Newman University and the Los Angeles Film Studies Center where he was selected as 1 of 4 Hollywood Workshop Film Directors.

​

After graduation, he worked for Super Chief as field producer and camera operator for the documentary television show WoodWalkers, as well as produced and directed several commercial and documentary projects.

​

In 2016, Daniel started his production company, Anthem Cry, making award winning films.

​

Recently, he co-created the live session series Light + Song, which highlights local Carolina musicians in a cinematic setting.

 

In 2019, Light + Song was selected by the prestigious John S. and James L. Knight Foundation as part of the Celebrate Charlotte Arts Grant Program.

​

Daniel is currently writing and developing his first feature screenplay, The Jenn, about a couple who thinks someone is living inside the walls of their house.
